LOT 1:

Mining Reserves – Different Sites:

The Leliefontein and Van Oudshoornstroom reserves are connected. Opencast mining operation took place in the North-West of Leliefontein. Access to the C-Lower seam as an underground operation could be conducted from an open Box-Cut which is currently filled with water.

2. LELIEFONTEIN:

  • (a) Leliefontein:

    • 136 IT Portion 18 and Joubertsvlei 260 IT Portion 6 & 8.

  • (b) Van Oudshoornstroom:

    • Jan Hendriksfontein 263 IT Portion 16.
    • Van Oudshoornstroom 261 IT Portion 3, 4, 5, 7, 17, 46, 78, 83, 89, 95, 100 and Witbank 262 IT Portion 100, 38, 39, 31 and 29.

3. JOUBERTSVLEI:

  • Joubertsvlei 260 IT Portion 1, 2 & 3 and 
  • Meppel 264 IT Portion 2;

More specifically described as:

  • Mining right MP30/5/1/2/129 – Golfview Mining (PTY) Ltd; Buhrmanns Tafelkop 135IT Ptn 12,14,15 & 16- effective from 2005-12-14 and expires 2025-12-13.
  • Mining right MP (number not known)- Golfview Mining (PTY) Ltd; Leliefontein section: Leliefontein 136 IT Pt 18 and Joubertsvlei 260 IT Pt 8 & 6- Effective 2005-11-15 and expires 2020-11-15.


LOT 2:

Discard Dump:

Situated at Portion 7 of Farm Buhrmanns Tafelkop 135 IT , Msukaligwa Municipality approximately 900 000 tons of discard coal with a CV specification of between 15 and 20.5 mg/kg. (Quantity and Quality not guaranteed) 


LOT 3: 

Farm Buhrmanns Tafelkop 135 IT, (Ptn 7) (± 149,8945 ha)

  • Located approximately 3km North of Ermelo. Water is extracted from boreholes and electricity is supplied by Eskom. This farm portion is directly north of Portion 2 and all physical mining operations are located in the southern corner of Portion 7.
  • Mining operation covers approximately 41 hectares, and the northern section of the farm offers natural grazing and planted pastures (Eragrostis).

Farm Buhrmanns Tafelkop 135 IT, (Ptn 7) (± 149,8945 ha) together with the Discard Dump


LOT 5: 

Washing Plant – 300 T/H Drum & Cyclone Plant 

  • The modular heavy media washing plant, initially designed to produce prime and middling products as a result of the substantial amount of torbanitic coal which occurred in the C-Lower seam.
  • The plant has been modified in 2007 to produce a single 0-50 mm export product.
  • The plant is a 300 t/h HM Drum and Cyclone plant.
  • Not operational.


LOT 6: 

Farm Buhrmanns Tafelkop 135 IT, (Ptn 2) (± 107,0665 ha)

  • Located approximately 3km North of Ermelo. Water is extracted from boreholes and electricity is supplied by Eskom. This portion is located on the Southern side and comprises natural grazing. It is divided by the gravel road into two sections and most of the land could still be used for grazing purposes.
  • Two earth dams on the land and both appear to be suitable for farming purposes.

Farm Buhrmanns Tafelkop 135 IT, (Portion 2) (± 107,0665 ha) together with Washing Plant – 300 T/H Drum & Cyclone Plant

LOT 8: 

Farm Witbank 262 IT, Portion 100 (Portion of Portion 5) (± 151.2742 ha)

  • The property is located approximately 6.5km east of Ermelo. The subject farm portion is located between the N12 (South) and the R65 (North) on a gravel road that is commonly known as the “Witbank” road. No water and electricity are available.
  • The farm is divided into a Northern and Southern section by the Witbank
